FameLab 2014

And again: on March, 22nd 10 young scientists presented themselves and their research work to a jury and the public.

The light hall of the Stabi is as such a hardly well-known jewel. On this day the hall lit up even more. Some 200 guests were impressed by the presentations of the 10 scientists.  The spectrum of the sciences was just as broad as the creative ideas to present all this in an understandable and entertaining way. The themes covered ultra cold  atoms, moths and burnt earth; even the Yeti was not left out.

We experienced a communication of science in a most beautiful way. The format inspired all guests and us, too. For this reason we want to also promote FameLab further on and make them part of our program at the next university ball. The winners were by the way Anna Stöckl (how moths are lightening the darkness) and Michael Büker (the gravitation initiates waves). We hope to be able to welcome the winners at our university ball.
